My Morning Skincare Routine

Monday, 5 May 2014

Although my skincare routine is constantly changing as I'm always on the hunt for the perfect product, these are a few of the things I've found myself reaching for every morning and have been loving lately.

Una Brennan Super Facialist Tea Flower Purifying Wash, £7.99 This is the first thing I've bought from the Una Brennan range and I will definitely be going back for more. The products are really affordable and I've definitely noticed a difference in my skin since using this- softer, brighter and just generally a lovely product to use in the morning to freshen up your skin.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc, price varies I've already talked about this toner in my April Favourites but it really has become a solid component in my morning routine, especially when I'm in a rush as I simply have to spritz it over my face, no fussy cotton pads needed.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + Anti Blemish Cream, £15.50 This is a fairly new product for me, I only bought it about a week ago but it's already love. I suffer from combination skin- I get blackheads on my nose and have the occasional under the skin spot come up on my chin, as well as some scarring. In a week I think this product has made more of a positive difference to my skin than anything else I've ever tried. My skin feels clarified, unclogged and any spots I did have are clearing up super fast. I already know this is something I'll repurchase- no wonder so many people rave about it!

Origins Drink Up, £22 This is actually supposed to be a ten minute mask but recently my skin has been in dire need of some extra moisture and so I've been working a thin layer of this in the skin to help quench it. Despite being a mask it actually sinks in surprisingly quickly, I was suffering from some dry patches on my forehead but since using this in the mornings they've cleared up a treat.

I'm currently really lusting after the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing balm, the only thing putting me off is the price tag! Does anyone know of any cheaper dupes? What are your favourite skincare products at the moment?

  5. Effaclar Duo has to be one of my favourite skincare products ever! You should try the Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil as it takes makeup off easily yet feels so luxe on the skin :)
